Evergreen National Indemnity Co. – Columbus, OH
A- carrier with $30+ million in capital and surplus

• Stock distributed to ProCentury shareholders in anticipation of its April 2004 IPO
• Shareholders include Waste Management, Allied Waste, Casella Waste Systems and Waste Connections

United Nations Insurance Agency – Cleveland, OH
Program manager that produces and administers landfill and contract surety business for Evergreen

• Written premiums grew from $8 million in 2001 to $30 million today
• Controls approximately 50% of the national waste industry landfill bond market
• No losses paid on business produced in 15 years

Live Earth LLC, Cleveland, OH
Fully integrated non hazardous solid waste disposal company

• Formed to acquire Sunny Farms Landfill (Fostoria, OH) and Champion City Recovery
  (Brockton, MA)
• Market serves 40 million people with combined solid waste generation of 60 million tons
• Acquired by WCA Waste Corp. (Nasdaq: WCAA) in January 2010 for $43mm in cash, stock and contingent considerations.

Aerodynamic Trailer Systems, Ltd. - Cleveland, OH

 

• Early stage company focused on development of drag reduction devices for over-the-highway tractor trailers
• Proceeds used for prototype development and beta tests
• Made additional investment commitment for successful trials and purchase orders

Milk Specialties Company, Inc. – Dundee, IL
Manufacturer of nutritional feeds and supplements for production animals

• Made mezzanine and equity investment in June 2006
• Transaction led by Stonehenge Partners
• Revenues in excess of $100 million and EBITDA in excess of $8 million
